Merga RZ is a round celeriac variety with smooth skin. Internally it is white, has a good quality and small hole. The leaves are strong, which makes this variety suitable for harvesting with its leaves on for a nice on-shelf presentation. Merga RZ is suitable for the industry and fresh market. The variety is good at withstanding bolting and has a high yield. It is very suitable for the early transplantings. After later transplantings Merga RZ can be used for storage.
